A 90 min massage that I developed to stimulate the lymphatic system which is responsible for immune defense and fluid retention. This is not lymphatic drainage. I combine deep tissue with long flowing stroking techniques which stimulate the lymphatic system. Clients have reported that the effects of the massage seem to last longer with this massage. You must be completely disrobed for this massage. With the draping techniques that I use, here is no risk of exposure. This also comes with an optional abdominal massage. I have a crudely made video to give you an idea on YouTube called, NorthStar Massage Detox Massage. The link is below, it has been edited to 60 mins but is a 90 min massage. Thank-you
Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.
I combine deep tissue massage with neuromuscular trigger point therapy and ortho-bionomy for very effective pain and stress relief. Neuromuscular is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Just a good overall full body massage to release minor aches and give one a sense of well-being. No deep tissue work or therapy, just a good relaxing massage.
Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.
